God are you really listening?
why do we ask this question?
matthew 7:7-11 ask and it will be given to you; seek and you shall find;knock and the day will be opened to you. for everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? if you then though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

we question our value in God's sight
luke 12:6-7 are not five sparrowssold for two pennies? yet not one of them is forgotten by God.indeed , the very hairs of your head are all numbered. don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

am i too sinful?
psalm 51:17 the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, oh God, you will not despise.

psalm 66:18 "if i had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened,"

am i the only one to ask this question?
what is the answer to the question?
james 1:5 " if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."

mark 11:24 therefore i tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

He may say yes
He may say no
He may say wait

psalm 28:14 wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

isaiah 40: 31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagle; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

this was my sunday school lesson last week and God answers prayers maybe not how you would want but he is all knowing so he knows what is best. for example i prayed that we can get our bills paid off. i would like someone to come to the door and hand me all that i need:) but instead God sent me gavin's friend's mom. the extra money that i am receiving from her is my blessing to pay off bills. God is good.
